It is so hot in DC these days. Like so hot- over 100 degrees without humidity, it's SO HOT. But regardless I ventured outside for lunch. Here are a couple of photo's from where I ate lunch.

So this week has been pretty great. Work has been going well and Summer semester at school is way better than the regular semester partly because I only have 1 test though I have 4 classes. Also because my professors keep letting us out earlier than the end of class, which is pretty much awesome! YAY :)

Tonight I'm sitting in copyright class. I'm likely writing my final paper in this class about how because the court shut down Napster (which enabled people to "steal" ie. infringe copyright by setting up an index where their users could share information) then Google should be shut down as well. Dad doesn't share my view and regaled me with a battle to the end of how my generation just believes in stealing things and that I don't want Napster to be shut down (which is true). I don't believe a corporation should be guilty if someone uses their software to steal, so long as it has other uses which Napster and actually Google as well have.
Well I'll either write about that or about campaigns and copyrightable material. Shocking, I'm more interested in politics then the law of copyright. Later tonight I have "emerging law of the internet" which is pretty much a privacy class.
Tonight's lecture though on copyright is about this random advocacy group who believes that the first use doctrine should be applied to music and software, ie. after the first use the copyright holders rights are done anyway with- which they believe is the same as 2nd hand booksellers, or garage sales.
Guess I'll start paying attention again, it's tough though because it's just so hot.
